Charles Jeffrey L. Tan, MD
Dr. Tan is a 3rd-year medical oncology clinical research fellow at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City, Philippines. He holds an MD from the University of Santo Tomas and is in the process of training in clinical oncology. His current interests include gastrointestinal cancers, cancer and tumor registry, global oncology, and treatment access and equity.
Dr. Tan joined GLOW to explore how motivated groups can impact cancer care research and practice globally and to gain insights into the perspective of low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). He envisions a future where all cancer specialists in his country can contribute their expertise on a global scale, akin to the collaborative environment within GLOW.
