Cecilia Nehmad Misri, MD
Dr. Misri is a medical oncologist at ABC Medical Center in Mexico City, with a focus on women’s cancers and a strong commitment to equitable cancer care. Originally from Mexico, she completed her medical degree with a merit scholarship at Universidad Anáhuac México Norte and her oncology training at ABC Medical Center, supported by a full scholarship from UNAM. She currently teaches Cancer Biology and General Physiology and is engaged in clinical research and private consultation. She has served as a sub-investigator in multiple international trials and is a co-author of several peer-reviewed publications. Her long-term goal is to establish a multidisciplinary women’s cancer clinic for underserved populations.
Dr. Misri joined GLOW to collaborate with a global network of professionals working toward equitable access to cancer care and to contribute insights that can shape inclusive health policies and services.
