Jacques Bezuidenhout, MD
Jacques is a radiation oncologist at UZ Brussel in Belgium with a clinical and research focus on MRI-guided radiotherapy. Originally from South Africa, Dr Bezuidenhout completed his medical and specialist training in the Netherlands and Belgium, and holds a Master of Advanced Oncology from the University of Ulm. He is currently pursuing a postgraduate diploma in Health Economics at the University of Cape Town. His interests include access to radiotherapy, the economics of cancer care, and health system sustainability. He is actively involved in clinical studies and contributes to international policy efforts as an extended member of the ESMO Access to Cancer Medicines Committee.
Dr Bezuidenhout joined GLOW to collaborate with an international network of professionals dedicated to reducing global disparities in cancer care and advancing equitable, evidence-based oncology practice.
