Mohammad Akash

Mohammad Akash is a medical student and clinical researcher at The Hashemite University in Jordan. His work focuses on global access to radiotherapy, including proton beam therapy and ultrahypofractionated breast radiotherapy. His research has been presented at ESTRO congresses, where he was among the youngest presenters. He is the founding president of his university’s ASCO Oncology Student Interest Group and a participant in the ASCO Virtual Mentorship Program.

Akash joined GLOW to advance research on global disparities in cancer care and contribute to equitable, evidence-based oncology solutions.
