Paula Isabel Gimena Franco, RN, MD
Dr. Franco is a medical oncology fellow at St. Luke’s Medical Center in the Philippines. She finished Undergraduate Nursing studies at the University of the Philippines as a Cum Laude and was a board topnotcher at the National Nursing Licensure Exam. She subsequently completed her medical studies at the University of the East, Ramon Magsaysay Medical Center as a University Scholar, and her internal medicine residency at the Philippine General Hospital. She will be further pursuing a fellowship in adolescent and young adult oncology at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
Dr. Franco joined GLOW to increase awareness of the barriers and challenges impeding access to cancer care, especially in low and middle-income countries.
