
Syeda A. Mina, MD, is a Medical Oncology Fellow at Mayo Clinic Rochester. She completed her medical degree at Alfaisal University in Saudi Arabia, where she also participated in clinical and medical-education research. She moved to the United States to complete her Internal Medicine residency training and is currently pursuing subspecialty training in Hematology and Oncology. Her primary
clinical and academic interests lie in thoracic oncology, particularly in biomarker-driven and targeted therapeutic approaches.
Dr. Mina joined GLOW to contribute to research aimed at improving the understanding of tumor genomics in South Asian and other underrepresented minority populations, where data on mutational burden and genomic variability remain limited. Her goal is to advance equitable precision oncology efforts through collaborative global research.
